Tiana
On Saturday it was fun lamb and calf day. My lovely Dad came all the way from Blenheim to Otaki. In lamb and calf day I had a calf, her name is Maddie, she is a jersey. Her birth is 12Th July and her colours are brown ,black and white. I came 2ND leading and 1st in caring and rearing. I got a big trophy I't can't remember the name.I had fun and I am going to group final's.

The Brave Tin Solider By grace
A long time ago there was a little boy named William Haywood. Today was his 10th birthday, and William was really excited. William ripped open his first present, it was a beautiful palace. In the middle of the wonderful garden was a pretty ballerina dressed in pink. In Williams second present was a box with 25 tin soldiers. All the tin soldiers had a rifle over their left arm.
Unfortunately one of the poor tin soldiers only had one leg. When William was out of the room all of his fantastic toys would come alive and play together. The one legged soldier fell in love with the ballerina as soon as he saw her, because it looked like she also only had one leg. But sadly she did have two legs, one of her legs were tucked up under her skirt.
Four days later William decided to make a boat out of newspaper. He chose the one legged soldier to be his sailor. In fact the poor tin soldier would be sailing down the overflowing gutter!William put the soldier into the boat and pushed it towards the water pipe. The tin soldier and the boat disappeared down the water pipe. In the water pipe it was very dark the tin soldier heard a voice 'who goes there'. It was a ugly water rat. The tin soldier continued on his way with the water rat chasing him. After a few minutes the tin soldier arrived at the ocean. The tin soldiers paper boat sunk and he was swallowed by a fish.
The fish that swallowed the tin soldier was caught and sold to a cook. But this wasn't any old cook this was Williams cook so soon the tin soldier was back in Williams bedroom. The tin soldiers adventures were not over just yet. William threw the tin soldier into the fire. The tin soldier felt himself melting then a lovely leap from the ballerina she jumped into the fire with the tin soldier. The next morning Williams maid was scraping out the fire when she found a small tin heart. It was the last of the tin soldier and the ballerina.

Justin
I was out on my fancy yacht, out at sea when a gigantic shadow appeared. It swam under the five tonne boat then it started circling the boat. I was getting scared then the shadow disappeared. Where is it? I said to my self. It was quiet, too quiet. Then suddenly the giant fish flew up into the air and then all I could hear was crash, crush, crumble, smash, snap, slosh, bang, boom, bash,. I had no choice but to jump overboard.

Today I saw a big, huge, humongous whale. The whale went crash, crush, cling, and clang onto the beautiful yacht. The people on yacht said
“Ah it’s a sea monster no it’s a flying saucer no it’s a big, huge, humongous whale.” They screamed as it hit the yacht. Then suddenly they plunged into the icy cold water and then swam as fast as they could to the shore.

Miss McKenzies birthday!
On the 13th of August 2010 we celebrated Miss McKenzie birthday. Graces mum brought in the biggest cake we had ever seen. Oh and don't forget that it was chocolate cake with chocolate icing and lollies. Grace, Katelyn and Laike have made a big card and a hat for Miss McKenzie. In the card we got every one to sign it by the rainbow. On the hat there is a smiley face with glitter all over it and the card has a great big sparkly balloon on the front. The balloon says 'Happy birthday Miss McKenzie'. Inside the card it says ' To Miss McKenzie you are the best teacher in the world and I hope you have a wonderful birthday. lots of love from'. (All the children's names on the other page).

The whale
It was a sunny day. I had to go up I jumped up in the sky I couldn’t see the boat so I made a big splat and splosh on the boat. 2 of the passengers got to save there lives but they still had medical conditions but the caption sadly got sunk down with the ship. The group went silent but one person said yes in sarcasm as he fell over. BOOM!

Suddenly it went dark under me as I leaped over the boat. Splash splosh into the deep dark water. Glug glug glug as the little boat sunk down to the bottom of the water. It landed at the bottom of the cold dark water.

Once I was swimming through the dark sea. I was about to go up for some sunlight. I could see the light when suddenly a dark shadow was coming towards me I started to swim faster. I didn’t know if I would make it. I leapt out of the water and landed on a yacht, I had such a hard landing that the yacht sunk. As I swam away my back started hurting because when I fell on the yacht I actually fell on my poor back.

The first day of school was exciting and cool to see Justin, Tyler, De Vyne and last but not less Miss Mckenzie the coolest teacher in the whole school. After everything was ready the class did a test which was cool and awesome .

On a fine summers day a girl named crystal was playing in the backyard. Suddenly a witch flew down out of the sky and turned crystal into a fairy. So she went inside and told her mum that she was a fairy and she has to go to fairyland. Sorry but you cant be my mum n0 more.
So off crystal went to fairyland. when she got there she found herself inside a castle. So she went to see the King and the Queen of fairyland. Welcome they said we are so glad you are here. Our servant will show you to your room. Okay said Crystal. when she got to her room she really loved it.So she got her pajamas on and went to bed. In the morning the Queen came in and gave Crystal a beautiful dress to were for the ceremony.Its time said the Queen. So the Queen ran to the ball room. Then Crystal came down the ill and stand"ed by her new mum the queen. Then the person that was doing the ceremony put a crown on her head and blessed Crystal and the ceremony was all done. So crystal was now the princess of fairyland. When she got to her room her hands were glowing. So she went to her mum and dad and said mum dad my hands are glowing.We forgot to tell you that you have magical powers to save people. When I first saw Alice I was shy and she was shy to.When Alice and I got used to each other and we became special friends we always played together everyday even if it was a splish splosh day , shining days and it was fun.

When I first came to Poroutawhao School I meet lonnesse. We went on the big kids playground and I was a bit shy so was lonnesse. Lonnesse and I started talking to each other.Then we be came best friends on the very first day.Lonnesse had very long Orange hair.I had blond hair.

What we did was we went over to the court. We got some people to shoot in the hop. As they was shooting in the hop we timed a minute. When we had about nine people. We made a graph. Tiana did the graph and I did the Title page. We both made comments about our results.

First we wrote all our questions on a piece of paper. Then two of us went into the library. After that we picked a question once we had done that we had to split up. Then we found our information on computers and in books. We had to write our information so we could present it on Comic Life.
Laike, Nakita, Alice and Katelyn's Inquiry
It was fun using comic life but was extremely hard to find all the right information. It was still fun. Putting together information we had no trouble writing it and putting it on comic life. All of our group members were supportive and helpful. It was easy to decide on what to do on comic life, but some parts were hard. In our group it was hard to work together as a group. We struggled to work together as a team. We were not communicating as a team during comic life.

Laike
The Tiny Rain Drop Buddies hoped out of bed and ran to wake up Big Papa Water. They just managed to wake him. He tickled the Tiny Rain Drop Buddies. As they rolled around on the cloud they made a hole. Just as the Tiny Rain Drop buddies hopped out of bed they fell through the hole. Big Papa Water cried and cried he yelled at the top of his voice but the Tiny Rain Drop Buddies could not hear him past the whistling wind they were gone. Every now and then he will cry remembering the last time he saw the Tiny Rain Drop Buddies. Every time he cries his tears fall from the cloud in the sky to the dry, hot earth and that is how the rain is made.
Joshua at camp
On Sunday the first of May my tummy was a little bit queasy ,because Rebecca and I were going to have our first camp away from home.With cubs and scouts.We were excited because we were going to do heaps of fun stuff like:Roast marshmallows, make smores and make damper.First (when we got there) we had to put up tents,then we had to chose two friends I chose Jaxon and Coltyn.next we got to play around mostly all the cubs played in the cow ear tagger,for about one and a half hours.After this we went inside a shed to have tea,for tea we had hamburgers.The next day I got out f bed and to my surprise there was a warm bin,I was starving,finally it was breakfast time I had porridge. After breakfast it was time to go home.
Nakita
Once upon a time there lived three girls and they loved going shopping. But there mother was so poor she said they couldn't go shopping anymore, but there dad had stacks of money and brought all the stuff that they wanted. They were so spoiled and you should see there draws and cupboard, it is full of clothes and shoes. But the funny thing is that they live at there mum's,. they wish they lived at there dad's because they loved him and his money. But the mum say "they can't live at there dad's because they will get sick of him". But they weren't they were sick of there mum. She thought the would but they are sick of her. They told her that they had enough of her and moved to there dad's. The mum was so sad and the sad part about it is that they moved to London. They used to live in New Zealand but now they live in London. All they did was shop and shop and shop and one day the got tired of shopping all the time. They won't to go back to there mum but there dad said "NO!". But they did and they took there dads money and went to there mums the were so happy they saw her. There mum was so glad they were back and with money to feed them. The mum ask "were did you get that money from!" and they said DAD!. The mums said "are you here with your dad you did you sneak the and hoped on the plane and come here". They said "yes and you were right we did have enough of shopping we should of listen to you first". "Oh I love you guys you make me smile". On the other hand there dad was angry that he had herd that they had gone. So he went on the plane to New Zealand because he had some money left in his wallet to fly over. When he arrived he had a little more money in his pocket to get a taxi to there house so when he arrived at the house he was angry. they sore his face and run out the back door. When the dad sore that they had gone he was angry . But the stuff w-was gone, so how would he now that they were GONE!

The storm was scary because it was dark suddenly a dream happened Mya was flying in the air meow said the cat. Suddenly super Mya lost her magical powers by a evil ruler named Steven. So Mya had to go home and tell queen Daynna and king Craig. My sparkly powers have gone by the sneaky evil ruler named Steven took them now i am just an ordinary girl now what do i do when i have no glittery powers Stevens taken them away from me and i love them. So much now the tired kitten is stuck up in the tree. Suddenly it rained the cat meowed. So Mya called Rebecca.w to trance form into her super hero outfit and get my powers back. So she flew to the evil rulers castle and she got them from the jar and put them into her bag. When she got back Rebecca took them out of her bag and sprinkled them on me. Once i rest for a while we will rescue the cat. The buzzer went off so it was time for Mya and Rebecca to go and rescue the cat. So we spun around the to get our costumes on. we flew out of the creeky door since it was raining hard we put on our water prof suit. The cat was still meowing
